Announcing Updates to the Free Plan and Timesheets Feature
As of February 8, 2025, we will be rolling out significant updates to improve your experience with TMetric. These updates will include changes to the Free plan and the official release of the Timesheets feature from beta. At TMetric, we are committed to continuously enhancing our platform to meet the evolving needs of our users, and these updates are a reflection of that commitment.
Updates to the Free Plan
Our Free plan is designed to support small teams and individuals by providing essential time-tracking capabilities. For larger teams seeking advanced features like task management, time-off tracking, and timesheets, we offer paid plans that provide a more comprehensive solution.
To maintain a reliable, secure, and high-quality service for all users, we are updating the seat limit on the Free plan. Starting today, the Free plan will include 2 seats instead of 5.
How This Will Work
- If you switch to the Free plan during or after your trial, only 2 members will remain active in your workspace, and any additional members will be locked.
- Existing workspaces with more than 2 users will retain their current terms for a 30-day transition period, followed by a 14-day trial. After the trial, workspaces that are not upgraded to a paid plan will be limited to 2 active members, with the others randomly locked.

Timesheets Feature Coming Out of Beta
The Timesheets module has successfully completed its beta testing phase and is now fully integrated into TMetric. This feature offers a robust set of tools to streamline timesheet management for teams of all sizes.
What This Means
- Professional Plan: Includes My Timesheets and timesheet export. Team Timesheets and Approvals are not available.
- Business Plan: Provides full access to all Timesheets features, including Team Timesheets and Approvals.
These updates allow us to focus on developing advanced features while maintaining the stability and performance of the platform. If your team requires the full suite of Timesheets capabilities, we recommend upgrading to the Business Plan for maximum productivity and streamlined workflows.
