Simplify Time Tracking with Timesheets

We're excited to launch a new version of TMetric with a fully-featured Timesheets module. We've included all the key features to make timesheet management easy and efficient. Furthermore, we appreciate your feedback and will continue to enhance this feature over the next year.

Please note that the Timesheets option is now available differently across various plans. My Timesheets and timesheet export are available with the Professional plan. The Business plan has no restrictions on using timesheets.

Now, let's explore capabilities for more effective timesheet management together.

Setting up timesheets

To get started with timesheets, configure the timesheet view and set up automatic email reminders for your organization. You can easily do it in the workspace settings, on the Timesheets tab.

Here you can specify an approval date for timesheets, select the first day for the timesheet to be generated, and set automatic email reminders for timesheet submissions.

Submitting timesheets

TMetric offers employees a fast and simple way to submit their timesheets for approval. They go to the My Timesheets page and click the Submit Week button. That's it.

If an employee wants to make changes to a timesheet, they can withdraw it and resubmit it.

Approving timesheets

The Team Timesheets page shows managers all the timesheets submitted by employees. A manager can easily view, check, and approve his/her employees' timesheets.

If a timesheet needs changes, a manager can reject it and send it back to the employee for revisions.

Exporting timesheets

TMetric enables you to export timesheets as CSV or PDF files, which can be used for work reporting or external accounting purposes.

More helpful features

TMetric provides various timesheet statuses to help you track your timesheet's progress in the payroll process. Moreover, TMetric notifies employees and managers of timesheet updates by email, helping manage approvals and keep teams informed.
