Approve Timesheets with Ease
Today, we're glad to present an updated version of TMetric. In this release, we focused mainly on making the timesheet approval process more efficient. We've also introduced support for custom item types in invoices and added the ability to filter Projects Summary data by project.
In this release, we're introducing Approvals in the Timesheets module. Managers can now review all timesheets in one place, streamlining bulk approvals and improving visibility into the approval process. We've also expanded invoice customization with support for custom item types and enabled filtering the Projects Summary report by project.
Timesheet Approvals
Now, on the Approvals tab of the Timesheets page, managers can easily review, withdraw, submit, and approve employees’ timesheets. They can also use the bulk edit option to quickly manage multiple timesheets and apply filters according to their needs.
This is only the first step in developing this functionality. We’ll keep improving it by adding more helpful features to make the timesheet approval process faster, smoother, and more efficient.
Custom Invoice Item Types
In TMetric, you can now use custom item types alongside the default ones when invoicing your clients. They help you keep your invoices well organized and ensure that tracked time and expenses are displayed accurately.
To create a custom item type
- Go to Invoice Settings by clicking the gear icon on the Invoices page.
- Click Create Item Type.
- Enter an item type name, select the options you need, and click Save.
- The new item type appears in the list of available item types.
You can also edit, archive (restore), or delete an item type at any time by clicking the Actions button next to it. And use the Status filter to quickly find the item types you need.
Other Features
Project Filter for Projects Summary
The new Project filter allows managers to quickly select one or more active or completed projects and view the corresponding report data. To apply a filter, click it and select the checkboxes for the projects you need.
