Data Import option is now available in TMetric
The TMetric workspace now has a new method for importing data. With the Data Import option, you can easily transfer data from any platform to TMetric and track your time with ease.
In this release, we are delivering a new way to import your data to the TMetric workspace. Now you can use the Data Import option to transfer data from any platform to TMetric and track your time with ease!
TMetric will automatically import your clients, projects, and teams, which will greatly save you time. No more requests for importing data to your workspace.

How to import data
TMetric offers convenient import options that simplify and speed up the workspace configuration process as much as possible.
You, as an owner or admin, can import data about team members, projects, and customers into your TMetric workspace by easily loading that data via CSV files.
To import your data, do the following:
- Go to Workspace Settings and open the Data Import tab.
- Prepare your CSV files for import by using our templates.
- Click the Import button that you need (e.g., Import Clients).
- Select or drag your CSV file and click the Import button.
- The importing process starts, and you'll receive an email when it's finished.
You can upload your own CSV file in the correct format if you have one.
Data import is available in the Business and Professional plans.
