Meet the Read-Only TMetric MCP Server: Ask Claude About Your Time Data
Connect Claude to your TMetric account with the new read-only MCP Server and get instant answers about your time entries, projects, invoices, and timesheets in plain language, without changing a single piece of data.
Your time tracking data holds answers to a lot of questions: Which clients are most profitable? What’s still uninvoiced? Who’s under their scheduled hours this week? Until now, finding those answers meant digging through reports and switching between tabs.
With the new TMetric MCP Server, you can simply ask Claude.
What it does
The TMetric MCP Server uses the open Model Context Protocol (MCP) to connect Claude directly to your TMetric account. Once connected, you can query and analyze your data in plain language, right in the conversation:
- “How much billable vs. non-billable time did we spend on our clients this quarter?”
- “Which time entries are still uninvoiced?”
- “Show me the team’s timesheets for this week.”
Claude can work with the data you already track in TMetric, including time entries, projects, clients, tasks, timesheets, invoices, expenses, time off, and reports.
Read-only by design
The MCP server gives Claude read-only access. Claude can retrieve and analyze your TMetric data, but it can’t create, edit, or delete anything in your account. You get faster insights while your data stays exactly as it is.
Getting started
Setup takes just a few clicks. In Claude, go to Settings → Connectors, find TMetric, click Connect, and authorize access. You’ll need an active TMetric account and an MCP-compatible assistant such as Claude’s desktop or web app.
Prefer manual configuration? That option is available too.

TMetric provides the data, and Claude helps you understand and use it, so you can spend less time on reports and more time on decisions.
